Strongest Behaviors
While moderate, I will most strongly express the following behaviors:
Summary
I am an engaging, poised, and stimulating communicator capable of projecting enthusiasm and warmth.
I have a strong sense of urgency and am driven to get things done with an emphasis on working with and through people in the process. I understand people well and use that understanding effectively to persuade others to act.
I can be impatient for results; particularly when delays are caused by bureaucracy or overthinking. I am a confident and venturesome “doer” and decision-maker who is able to delegate details and authority when necessary. I am a self-starter who is skillful at training and developing others. I apply pressure for results if needed, but in doing so, my style is more “selling” than “telling”.
I am at ease and self-assured with groups or in making new contacts. I can be gregarious and extraverted. I have an invigorating impact on people and am always promoting ideas in a general sense. I learn and react quickly and work at a faster-than-average pace. I am able to adapt quickly to change and variety in the work but can become drained over time if required to work primarily with repetitive routines and details.
The following are my key leadership traits…
I am results oriented and not a micromanager. I will help staff understand where we need to go and why, then get out of their way so they can use their abilities to determine the best path to the solution. That being said, I don’t leave them hanging, either. I am there to assist whenever they need me. Structurally, I align people’s talents, skills, and knowledge to the best role for them. I ensure staff are current on their performance with regular one-on-ones and updated on organizational progress via monthly All Hands meetings.
Management approach...
